A lot of people no longer work 8-hour jobs. Most of the corporations today require employees to do overtime more than 3 times a week, because of the looming crisis and the higher demands of the market. 1. The power of vertical stripes. Lines provide the appearance of a leaner and thinner you. You should invest more in clothes that have vertical stripe designs since these make you appear taller, with a flatter stomach. I personally prefer brown and black shirts with a plain tie or one with diagonal stripes.
The same effect goes with pants. Look for slacks or skirts with very thin vertical designsand you will realize that your legs will seem much longer. The opposite effect also occurs if you are wearing horizontal stripes. If you are already battling the bulge and get horizontal stripes, then you will lookmuch wider. 3. The right type. Button down shirts are recommended for individuals who have bulging bellies, since the division tends to neutralizethe effect. Avoid white or light colored t-shirts. Some individuals may even look worse with polo shirts. Check the measurement at the neck and arm area. Make sure your armpits allow enough space. Your arms should easily be raised over your head to indicatethe perfect fit. Avoid pulling down your top too, since this can enhance the bulge of your stomach. Just set the bottom hem at the same level as your belt. You can also get a nice belt to neutralize the effect.
4. Invest in the right footwear. Aside from bringing your favorite Leather fanny pack, it is important that you pick the right footwear that will make your overallappearance look balanced and symmetrical. Choosing very narrow shoes can distort your figure and make you look fatter. Some of the safe choices are low-cut sneakers, square toe boots or leather shoes and wide toed loafers.
