If you want to make money online you need a website - this is something that a lot of “Online guru’s” say but this is nonsense. In some cases it’s actually easier to make money using the resources of other people’s websites rather than making one of your own.
One website that is great for taking advantage of is called Squidoo and they’re found at squidoo.com. Squidoo is very simple to use, you create what’s called a “Lens” and this is just a simple web page which you have control over.
The best ways to make money from your Lens is either to write a review of a product or simply advertise a product and include your affiliate links in the content. My experience has taught me that reviews make more money because the people that read them are keen on buying the product your reviewing or the wouldn’t be searching for reviews.
Squidoo is a very well trusted website in the eyes of Google and this is a major advantage of using them over a website of your own. It takes time for a new website to rank highly on Google but a Squidoo Lens can do well from the day Google find it.

To make the Lens profitable you need to include your affiliate links in the content. The most efficient way is to put one link at the end (a click here to visit site style link) and two contextual links within the body.
Even though your aim is to profit from the Lens you should be truthful when you write reviews. Don’t just write blatant lies about the product you’re reviewing, people aren’t stupid and they will know it’s an advertisement rather than a review.
I personally believe that if you want to get on in life you need a clear heart so I’m always honest in my reviews. Another reason why you should be honest is because there’s a high possibility that Squidoo will delete your Lens if it isn’t entirely ethical.
