G20 Summit Backs The UK Budget, So Will This Help Small Companies Persuade Large Companies To Pay outstanding Invoices?
The UK budget, described as “tough but fair” has been welcomed by the G20 group of countries as being required so that the high UK debt can be brought under control and confidence can be restored in the economy. The G20 issued an announcement and in it they said that the UK budget was not a different approach to growth but part of the global growth package. This puts the UK on a good footing with the rest of the world in taking on the debt mountain and so it must be good news for the future. As far as UK companies go, they must be waiting to see if trade improves before believing that this plan will work out for them. For small companies who depend on large companies to pay their accounts in advance of the final payment date, they cannot afford to wait too long and so might take the G20 statement as a long term project and not something that will deliver the goods now.
Where a small company has been left in the situation of waiting for clearance of an outstanding bill for jobs completed[/spin] or items sold to a large company, which they have worked with for some time, the small company will need clearance to keep their revenue moving and pay their own accounts. If they contact the large company to ascertain about the bill and do not get a suitable response that they might feel let down and wish to take action. This action might well be to start Debt Collection proceedings, where the small company might then look to taking on the services of a usual Debt Collection service such as legal practices or Debt Collection Agencies. They might not realise that the fees levied by legal practices and Debt Collection Agencies can be in the order of 10% to 20% or more of the bill value, which might be a significant proportion of the bill and an amount that they cannot really afford to sacrifice. They might then turn their thoughts to Debt Collection Software since this is amore economical direction which allows the small company to carry out the Debt Collection activity with their own resources, by using their own resources instead of paying for those of the legal practices or Debt Collection Agencies.
The small company might well be new to the world of Debt Collection and so when they get down to investigate the various Debt Collection Software packages; they needs to pay careful attention to the manual to see if it has a help section that will explain how the Debt Collection activity works. They will also need to have detailed information on how to compose good quality Debt Collection letters since these are at the core of the Debt Collection activity. Those employees chosen to compose the Debt Collection letters needs to have good grasp of English so that the Debt Collection letters won’t have any spelling or grammatical mistakes since this might not help the Debt Collection activity. The manual needs to show the employees what suitable laws there is that they could use, and also what snippets that Debt Collection Agencies use that help them, which they in turn can use.
In this way if the small company works hard on the Debt Collection Software and the Debt Collection letters, they needs to be able to convince the large company to pay the bill and for a lot less that they would have had to pay for legal practices or Debt Collection Agencies. They will also now have the Debt Collection Software available for any other Debt Collection projects that might come along, and for free.
